LifelineDo you or someone you care about live alone? Lifeline can make you feel safe, secure and happy to be independent in your home. Whenever you need help, one press of your lightweight, waterproof help button activates a small in-home unit called a communicator. It puts you in touch with a local Riverside Lifeline Monitor who talks to you to find out what kind of help you need. He or she will call one of your friends, “Responders” who will come to your home to check on you. If you need more professional help, your Monitor will call immediately. And if you press your button and can’t speak, your Lifeline Monitor knows exactly what to do.

Our well-equipped staff has fast access to your vital information and can provide help 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The price of the Lifeline service is surprisingly affordable. For only $40.00 per month, you receive 24-hour local monitoring, service checks, battery checks and unit replacement if the need arises. There is a $50.00 application fee.

Lifeline users include:

  • People who live alone
  • People who may be concerned about their personal safety
  • People with ongoing medical conditions
  • Disabled or handicapped individuals
  • People with recent surgery
